Generally standard

Motor vehicle accidents are the primary cause of death at younger ages. Contributing factors to fatal accidents include alcohol and excessive speed. At older ages (> 65) it can be a flag for underlying cognitive degeneration.

DUI cannot be considered for a minimum of 6 months following completion of the suspension. If there are other infractions, cannot consider for 12 months.

Typical case: exclusion stating client return to Canada or the US for a claim to be considered. For travel to higher risk countries, we may supplement this exclusion by specifically excluding any disability which might occur in a specific country.
